Humans have altered planet Earth forever. As climate change, species extinction, and other environmental crises advance, we are called to reconstruct radically the way we live and do business. Is this possible? Can we muster the will? Do we have time?
Scotty Johnson, writer, deep ecologist, organizer, systems thinker, and spiritual guide believes we do. The key is recognizing a significant shift in consciousness is essential to bring us out of our tailspin of ecological folly. In this participatory seminar, Johnson will discuss this consciousness transformation, show how to reclaim our power to change the world around us, and discuss the “two sides of activism” – inner and outer transformation, offering practical tips to begin positives changes in your world.
Johnson has spent the last thirty-five years exploring the inner and outer realms of healing, psychology, ecological sustainability, and human change. Endangered species and climate change leader and activist, he’s trained and worked with former vice-president Al Gore, Drs. Stanislav Grof and Andrew Weil, Jack Kornfield, Sandra Ingerman and others. He has lectured extensively, led dozens of workshops, taught yoga, mindfulness meditation, Holotropic Breathwork, and Laughter Yoga. He is the founder and director of Taproot Collaborative.
