Yoga is an integrated system of the body, mind, and spirit …practicing aligns you with your best and brightest self. The Yoga Practice Immersion is specially designed for students to experience more of what yoga has to offer. You will:
Deepen & Broaden how Yoga works for you personally,
Strengthen your self-care habits,
Expand your understanding of the body/mind/spirit connection,
Enjoy the support of a community of practice.
This program grows out of our yoga training school, integrating the classical understanding of Yoga into a modern contemplative framework. Yoga in this context, is a vital modern skill that refines your ability to self-regulate the nervous system, be responsive to your unique life circumstances, and be intentional about how to direct your life force.
While there are many ways to practice yoga, our emphasis is in-person and process-oriented. This means that in addition to sharing foundational content and techniques, learning is experiential, interactive, and relational. The format each week involves a balance of practice, teaching, and discussion. Practice outside of class is suggested, and study is encouraged. The most important part of the program is your participation.
The Yoga Practice Immersion Program changes each time it is offered. This series will be geared to more experienced students and teachers interested in their ability to transmit the potential of yoga within and beyond form.
This Fall’s format includes a themed intermediate yoga practice class each week, led by Natasha and other experienced teachers; and a post practice group reflection, discussion, and learning period. Complimentary to the theme, there will be a particular concept or theory focused upon each week, along with optional readings and assignments. The program also includes an intensive retreat day of practice.
