This four-week program is a supportive yoga series created for those who provide ongoing care for others —parents, adults caring for a family member, nurses, teachers – individuals who consistently give their time and energy to others and are ready to reconnect with themselves without pressure, performance, or haste.

This program is ideal for those whose days revolve around others’ needs, who carry a constant mental load, and who find it difficult to fully rest, even in moments of pause.

Each class offers a calm, accepting space to slow down, breathe, and move with intention. The series blends intentional movement and mindful awareness with reflection on themes such as burnout, self-awareness, and self-care. Concepts are introduced in a grounded way to support greater presence, inner awareness, and resilience.

Classes incorporate gentle, gradual movements that support flexibility, strength, circulation, and nervous system regulation; cultivating a sense of deep relaxation alongside soft, steady strength. Opening contemplations and closing meditations are woven throughout, easing physical tension and guiding a shift from constant “doing” into a more grounded state of “being.”

  • Cultivate calm, clarity, and inner steadiness

The program emphasizes the value of shared experience, fostering a sense of connection and community, is suitable for all levels, and requires no prior yoga experience.


Jody Tom, RYT-200, MAOM, is a yoga instructor, leadership coach, and founder of True North Solutions. Her work is rooted in empathy, intuition, and lived experience, with a deep understanding of what it means to consistently show up for others while navigating the balance of tending to oneself.

With over 20 years of experience guiding individuals and organizations, Jody brings a calm, grounded presence to her style of teaching. She holds advanced degrees in Human Resources and Organizational Management and is an ICF-trained coach, with formal training in massage therapy and shiatsu (balancing the body’s energy flow). These diverse experiences inform her integrated approach to creating supportive, non-judgmental spaces for reconnection with oneself without pressure or performance. Her yoga classes use intentional movement and awareness as a tool to shift out of constant “doing” into a more steady, sustainable way of being.
