Fruitful Darkness – A Solstice Yoga Nidra – December 20th
The Winter Solstice marks the day the sun reaches its most southerly declination and is directly over the Tropic of Capricorn. Solstice literally means stopping, as the Sun apparently stops and changes its course. For us in the Northern Hemisphere this is the shortest day and the longest night, the beginning of Winter. Across cultures there are rituals of light during this time; yet in this modern lit-up world, it is becoming vitally important to consider the value of darkness.
The Fruitful Darkness is a Special Solstice Class of our regular Friday Yoga Nidra class, with Elisa Rivera & Natasha
