The Sol Center invites you to participate in a our first Contemplative Book Study Group. The book selected is:
Your Heart Was Made for This: Contemplative Practices for Meeting a World in Crisis with Courage, Integrity, and Love, by Oren J. Sofer.

This book is a beneficial guide, a practical roadmap, for cultivating the hearts capacity to face and transform our greatest personal and societal struggles. Through the content and engaged process you will learn ways to:

• Find more choice and freedom in life
• Strengthen focus, sustain energy, and accomplish goals
• Identify burnout and take steps to renew yourself with clarity and vitality
• Discover new ways to identify and work with areas of potential crisis without reacting or falling into fear, paralysis, worry, anger, anxiousness or grief.

The study group is structured so there is ample time devoted to group discussion and ‘break-out groups’ (smaller in size) where theme’s from each week’s chapter readings are discussed. The beginning of each session starts with a guided/silent meditation period, always relevant to what we are studying that week. The class is intimate and inclusive where all participants will feel safe, trusting and at ease to share their observations, thoughts, and ask relevant questions. Lhasha has abundant experience teaching spiritual related book study groups for over 10 years.
