Compassionate Integrity Training – Begins February 3rd
Sol Center is proud to support the launch of the Compassionate Integrity Training program in Tucson, in partnership with Teresa Cowan Jones of Sacred Space.
We are especially interested in this program as it speaks to essential questions and challenges we are continually presented with:
- How can I help more effectively?
- How can I apply my values skillfully?
- How can I stay balanced?
- How can I contribute to the greater good?
The Compassionate Integrity Training program is unique in its methodology and scope as it facilitates learning from concept to investigation to embodied practice; and considers personal, relational, and systems perspectives. The intention of the 10 week process is to build capacity for living in accordance with one’s personal values and with a deeper recognition of a global, human ethic.
The program has been collaboratively built upon a broad base of knowledge, including: Conflict Resolution, Contemplative Science, Cognitively-Based Compassion Training, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and the particular works of Daniel Goleman and Peter Senge.
Weekly sessions includes both large and small group discussions, experiential learning activities, reflective writing, mindful dialogue and contemplative practices. There is an extensive course manual and suggested practices each week. Upon completion of this training, there will be an online opportunity for more training for those interested in becoming a program facilitator.
To learn about the program in its entirety, please see: The Center for Compassion, Integrity, and Secular Ethics website
The workshop begins on Monday February 3rd at 6:00 pm and concludes at 8:00 pm, for 10 weeks in total ending April 6th.
