As a trained physician and a dedicated yoga practitioner and yoga therapist, Jessica will illuminate the many ways yoga aids our nervous system and body/mind in creating resilience. With new ideas and inspiration you will have new motivation to keep up the good practices needed to be well in the midst of life’s many challenges.
Our time will be a combination of presentation and experiential practices including mindfulness, breath, gentle movement, guided meditation and relaxation. All material presented will be available as digital resources upon request. This class also qualifies for two hours of CEC’s for Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teachers.
Jessica Byron, MD, E-RYT 500, CIAYT, TIYT, YACEP is a retired physician, registered yoga teacher, certified yoga therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and a trauma-informed yoga teacher facilitating accessible yoga for resilience in health challenges and life’s transitions.
