From a young age most of us are taught to be skeptical, to doubt, to mistrust the world we live in. As we get older our heart closes off, protects and pushes away the possibilities to connect, to understand- to bridge the mind and heart.

Trust is the foundation of spiritual practice. Along with self-investigation and self-love, the cornerstones of trust, we begin to leave behind the burden of false beliefs and the limitations of habitual tendencies.

With the cultivation of wisdom and courage our heart learns to trust the process of letting go, we can meet the world with kindness, compassion and equanimity, moving with life’s joys, heart-breaks, pains and pleasures. We know we got this, and we can trust again and again.

This 3 hour practice session will include inquiry, reflection, heart meditation, and embodiment practices to uncover what is always here, the compassionate heart of True Nature. New and experienced meditators are welcome.

Have enough courage to trust love one more time and always one more time – Maya Angelou

The awakened mind is one with the trusting heart – Zen proverb
