We’ll invite several invigorating, cleansing breaths to help you ‘spring clean’ the hard-to-reach corners of your inner sanctuary. With each inhale, welcome fresh air into your being, and with each exhale, release any old, stagnant air or lingering emotions. This mindful practice allows you to sweep away the last remnants of Winter, fully embody the essence of Spring, and welcome a profound sense of renewal.
We’ll start our class in a circle with a gentle introduction to the breath, inviting a communal conversation around our theme. This sets the stage for our main focus: the breath itself. As we delve deeper, we’ll explore a specific breathwork technique to cleanse, invigorate, and renew our inner landscapes. We’ll close our time together in a circle as well, reflecting on our experiences and nurturing the sense of connection and renewal we’ve cultivated.
What Is Breathwork?
This particular style of Breathwork is an active meditation technique designed to help you explore and tend to your inner landscape. By connecting deeply with your breath, you can calm and ground your nervous system, releasing any stuck or stagnant energy in both your mind and body. This practice creates a pathway for emotional and somatic release and the development of new neural pathways. As you release tension, stress, and limiting thought patterns, you’ll find it easier to connect with your innate wisdom. This connection can be a powerful catalyst for genuine self-love, self-healing, and self-acceptance.

This is an activating breathwork technique where you will be breathing in and out through your mouth for 30-40 minutes. Please refrain from using any mind-altering substances at least 24 hours beforehand. If you are pregnant, have epilepsy, or have recently undergone abdominal surgery, please consult with your primary care physician before attending class. Do not eat a heavy/full meal right before our gathering.
Anndrea Terry is a licensed professional wellness counselor whose passion is the cultivation of whole-self healing, harmony, and balance. Beyond her basic counseling background and her postgraduate degree in wellness, she has been teaching yoga since 2013. Within the yoga field she has explored and trained in various modalities including Trauma Conscious Yoga, Yin & Restorative, Vedanta Yoga Nidra, and multiple other meditation and breathwork methods. She has also pursued interests in the sacred feminine and nature therapy. Her classes and workshops are beloved for their skillful and graceful approach to the deep restoration we all need to be whole.
