How does your cultural \ ethnic\ religious identity intersect with the practice of yoga?
This experiential seminar and initial inquiry explores yoga’s kosha model, Golden’s published model of self-esteem, and the integration of the yoga experience with each participant’s uniqueness. Information sharing and a closing guided candle meditation from the Kabbalistic tradition will be offered. Participants are encouraged to light a candle for this portion.
Bonnie is a yoga teacher, author of “Yoga for Holistic Healing: Poses and Sequences for pain and Stress Relief” published June 2020, blogger and former college faculty member. She is the owner of Yoga in Balance, LLC and yogawithbonnie.com. Her formal credentials include MEd, E-RYT. Bonnie specializes in teaching “yoga across the lifespan” with expertise in several yoga areas including prenatal/postpartum, healthy aging, boomers, and beginners. She has guided thousands of students over many years in classes, workshops, and private sessions. Bonnie’s students enjoy her accessible teaching style, which focuses on self-awareness, empowerment, calm, and fun.
