Yoga Retreat: The Gila Release – The Weekend of May 5th
Sol Center & Glenwood Yoga & Whitewater Mesa Labyrinths Present
The Gila Release Yoga Retreat
With Natasha Korshak and Cordelia Rose
May 5 – 7
Glenwood, New Mexico at the Los Olmos Lodge
Please join us for a liberating weekend of yoga, meditation, labyrinth walks, nature, star gazing, friendship, fun, and play in the Gila Wilderness.
We have the fabulous Los Olmos Lodge to ourselves, the Gila Wilderness as our backyard, hot springs down the road, and Cordelia’s famous labyrinths up the road.
After having to postpone in 2020 and 2021, and not bothering to try in 2022, we are delighted to re-re- release this special event to our long-time and new friends far and wide.
Our theme back then, and now, was inspired by the restored jailhouse building on the Los Olmos Lodge property that claims to have once held Billy the Kid. He is also said to have escaped from it. So while a yoga retreat is not about being an outlaw, it is about escape, liberation, breaking free, and exploring the wild beyond our structured lives. We even have special local musical guests who will share Gila Release songs and stories.
You will be able to register solo, with a friend, or in a pod. All peoples are welcome. The sooner you register the better, to be able to secure your accommodation of choice, and your place in the yoga room.

Retreat Fee & Lodging
Your retreat fee & lodging for Friday and Saturday nights are combined. Please select your lodging preference from the following options:
- A private cabin: one bed $495 (extra $75 for non-yogi bedmates)
- A friend cabin: two beds, $795
- A pod cabin: a king or queen bed and 4 single bunks, $1095 (accommodates 3 yogis; 3 non-yogis may join you for $75/each)
- Retreat fee for Glenwood Yogis not staying at lodge $150
Each cabin has its own bathroom.
(The limits on those participating in the yoga program are due to mat space in the great room. Non-yogis will be welcome at all off-the-mat activities.)
Meals
Meals are a separate fee of $115 and include Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast/lunch/dinner, and Sunday breakfast. There will be omnivore, vegetarian, and vegan meal plans. Payable upon arrival.
There are no supermarkets or restaurants with regular service in Glenwood – so opting out of meals is not a viable option. There is a Trading Post across the street from the Lodge, and Alma Grill 10 minutes north of Glenwood for Sunday post-retreat options.
Our Covid-19 Precautions
All of us who are teaching and representing the Gila Release Yoga Retreat this year, are fully vaccinated. For the general safety of the community, we would prefer that those who attend are likewise fully vaccinated, but it will not be required. We will also follow the most current, best practices guidelines of the CDC and the State of New Mexico for similar events. Participants concerned about exposure are welcome to wear their mask.
Retreat Refund Policy
In the event that the retreat cannot happen, you will receive a full refund.
If you cannot attend after you have registered:
Cancelation up to April 1st, 100% refund
Cancelation after April 1st, if we can fill your spot, we will refund you 75%
*If you pass your reservation on rather than cancel, no charge
Program Schedule
Yoga with Natasha is best described as Hatha Yoga, which reflects a classical emphasis on relaxation and inner awareness as a means of progressing. Her approach is slow, deep, meditative, expansive, and breath oriented. Cordelia Rose, our hostess in the Gila is an extraordinary yoga woman herself and has wide recognition as a labyrinth maker. Stacey Tarquinio will be our registrar extraordinaire and will help you prepare for arrival.
