Slow Flow Yoga
Slow Flow Yoga is a smooth, creative, breath inspired yoga practice designed for the end of the week. Movement is linked with breath and given enough time to be felt, so there is room to unwind and release what the week has left in your shoulders, hips, and low back. Along the way you are encouraged to attune, attend, and rebalance: to listen to what your body and breath are saying right now, to stay with it as it changes, and to let effort and ease find their own proportion. By the end you’ll be ready for a quiet night at home or going out on the town.
Of course, a long week doesn’t disappear in one class; yet the practice can shift how you carry it. Slow Flow is a good fit for people who like to move, and also for those who simply need to feel their body again after days of thinking.
The magic is in the pace and tone. The pace is slow enough to notice the transitions between poses, where so much of the practice happens. The tone is gentle, curious, and unhurried, a bit like taking the long way home on a Friday.
Slow Flow Yoga is for those of you:
- Who want to release the week through movement and breath.
- Who enjoy a creative, flowing practice without a rushed pace.
- Who are newer to yoga and want a smooth way in, or who have practiced for years and want to slow down.
- Who would like to arrive at the weekend more present, more grounded, and a little more at home in your body.
