The Spiritual Importance of Our Wounded Child – Sunday July 24th
In a short overview we will look at how the inner child is referred to by various psychologists, and the new understanding of how the experience of childhood wounding affects our nervous system, perception, reactions, and responses.
With this fuller understanding we will explore a few reflective and meditative practices that help us connect to our inner child, and illuminate the link between past experiences and present challenges. As our challenges are also our choice-points, this added perspective enhances our ability to expand and grow in new ways.
We will not be delving into personal trauma history, rather we will consider how knowing and caring about the truth of our personal experience, and developing a nurturing relationship with our younger, more vulnerable self, helps us benefit emotionally and spiritually.
This is offered at no cost and you are most welcome to attend.
