Teacher: Michelle Goldberg

Michelle began her yoga journey at the age of 14, when she was permitted to take a yoga class in place of her high school physical education requirement. What started as a simple alternative quickly became a lifelong foundation—one she remains deeply grateful to have discovered at such a young age. Through yoga, she experienced firsthand the transformative power of movement, breath, and truly connecting with one’s body.

Michelle received her 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification through Yoga Pod in Tucson, where her training was rooted in Vinyasa Yoga while also introducing her to Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. These practices had a profound impact on her life, helping her cultivate balance, stillness, and healthier patterns of rest after a lifetime of sleep challenges.

Driven by an ongoing passion for self-growth and a deep curiosity about movement, energy, and healing, Michelle continued her studies through certification in Qigong with Nick Loffree, in the lineage of Lee Holden. This practice emphasizes the yin aspect of strength—exploring how softness, presence, and internal awareness can be deeply powerful. Qigong continues to strongly influence her teaching style, bringing elements of meditative movement, energy cultivation, and intentional flow that support both vitality and restoration.

Believing that resilience in the body also requires balanced strength and alignment, Michelle furthered her education by pursuing her certification in pilates in the Fletcher Pilates method. This work deepened her understanding of internal connection, breath, posture, and intelligent, mindful movement, all of which are thoughtfully woven into her classes.

Michelle works with students of all ages and physical abilities, creating an environment that is equally supportive and empowering. Her classes blend strength, mindfulness, fluid movement, and restorative practices, offering students a space to build energy, release tension, reconnect with themselves, and feel good in their bodies. She believes deeply in the power and beauty of daily movement, and weaves together these diverse modalities to create a full-body, integrative experience in every class.
