Yoga Nidra is a special form of guided meditation that invites deep relaxation of the body and mind. Relaxation in Yoga is the gateway to deeper healing, an important skill that allows the innate intelligence of the body to operate and the mind to rest in its essential clear nature. Yoga Nidra is like a lullaby, a balm you receive simply by hearing it. The practice will include a brief orientation and intention setting, guided breath and body sensing, some visualization and affirmation, and a quite closing practice.
All are welcome. No yoga or meditation experience is necessary. Please have a blanket or wrap to be warm for relaxation practices. Furry friends are welcome, real and plush ones too.
This is free for monthly members or anyone currently engaged in a Sol Program (MBSR or Contemplative Study).
