It’s Summer! Ready for a bit of quiet time to relax, recharge and regroup? Join us for this half-day retreat to experience the personal benefits of mindfulness. It’s simple and innate, it doesn’t even require new gear or devices to track your progress!
During the retreat you will participate in guided meditations, gentle movement, and mindful activities. For most of the time you will be quiet to allow your mind and body to settle and focus on the present moment. It’s a fun challenge, a great way to explore mindfulness beyond the hype, and a perfect way to enter the summer break with fresh energy. No experience required!
You’ll leave with new tools that can be used anywhere, any time:
- Stress-reducing strategies
- Mindfulness and meditation skills
- Self-care habits
Holly Cluff’s interest in teaching mindfulness and meditation to others has been inspired by her work as a teacher in public schools along with her personal experience in becoming a meditator. She’s discovered that mindfulness and meditation provide great insight into understanding how to help with stress and anxiety, and also increase a sense of well-being. Since 2017, she has been teaching mindfulness and meditation as an exciting and satisfying way to engage with her community and share life skills with people of all (5-100!) ages.
The Center for Koru Mindfulness at Duke University created this course for teaching mindfulness, meditation and stress management to young adults. It is the leading evidence-based curriculum taught in more than 200 universities in 11 countries. Holly is a certified Koru Mindfulness Instructor.
