DESCRIPTION:With Kristina Hook, E-RYT 500, YACEP\nSaturday, June 27th from 2:00 to 4:30\n$65, Sol Member discount applicable\n \nThis experiential workshop explores the relationship between breath, fascia, movement, and the central nervous system through the lens of yoga.\nUsing deep natural breathing, fluid movement, and accessible postures, we will investigate how fascia—the body’s continuous connective tissue network—supports integration, awareness, mobility, and nervous system regulation.\nTogether we will explore:\n• What exactly is fascia?\n• How does fascia relate to yogic philosophy and embodied awareness?\n• How can we sense and awaken fascia within our own bodies?\n• How does deep breathing hydrate, mobilize, and enliven fascial tissue?\n• How do movement, breath, and attention influence the central nervous system?\nThe practice will include a gentle sequence of postures and fluid movements designed to:\n• deepen and free the breath\n• mobilize and hydrate fascia\n• improve sensory awareness\n• calm and regulate the nervous system\n• cultivate ease, integration, and presence\nSuitable for all levels. She is a lifelong learner with a mystical eye and is currently exploring training in The Gyrotonic Method™.
