SUMMARY:Transforming Grief & Loss – A Mind, Body, Spirit Seminar
DESCRIPTION:Our topic this month looks at the reality of grief in our lives, and ways we can be transformed rather than diminished by loss.  In particular, we will be speaking with Dr. Larry Lincoln about his own life, work as a physician,  and protégé of Elisabeth Kubler-Ross’s experiential grief process method.\nThe seminar is offered every second Sunday as an exploration of mind body spirit themes and their relevance to our daily practice and action.  The format is intended as a gathering more than a class and involves some combination of lecture, discussion, experiential exercise, and resources for continued contemplation of the topic.\nDr. Lawrence Lincoln, MD has been the medical director of the TMC hospice for over 25 years as well as being an infectious disease specialist.  With his wife Anne Taylor-Lincoln he offered the “Growth & Transition: Grief & Loss” workshop in Tucson for over 30 years as well as training 3 cohorts of other professionals to carry on the method.  He is the author of Reclaiming Banished Voices: Stories on the Road to Compassion.\n\n\n
